Poetry For Jesus
Arnold the cat he's got a hat
It's red with stripes just like a mat
He runs around the house so free
Chasing the sunbeam merrily
Arnold the cat in the kitchen roams
Likes to knock things off with his paws and combs
He thinks he's tiny but oh so grand
Climbing up the shelves he's in command
Arnold oh Arnold what a sight to see
Jumping and hopping all so happily
He’s the king of couches ruler of the floor
With his whiskers twitching we all adore
Arnold in the garden hunts a leaf
Pounces with purpose no time for grief
Birds fly high and dogs bark loud
Arnold stands tall looking so proud
Arnold dreams in the afternoon light
Of moonlit nights and stars so bright
Curled in a ball warm and snug
He's the house’s favorite little thug
Arnold oh Arnold what a sight to see
Jumping and hopping all so happily
He’s the king of couches ruler of the floor
With his whiskers twitching we all adore
