In my backyard, 
In the afternoon sun, 
A White-Winged Dove 
And a Pigeon 
Landed on me, 
Unafraid and trusting, 
Eating seeds from my hand 

A peaceful moment, 
A connection formed, 
With these beautiful birds, 
Sharing a meal together 

Simple yet heartwarming, 
A memory to treasure, 
The joy of nature's trust, 
In my backyard sanctuary 

Forever grateful, 
For this special bond,
