In Romans 8, Paul makes it clear, The flesh leads to death, but the Spirit brings cheer Those who follow their desires of the flesh, Will find themselves in a spiritual mesh
But those who walk in the Spirit's light, Will experience life, peace, and delight A mind controlled by flesh is at odds with God, Unable to follow His laws, feeling flawed
Yet as believers, we are not bound, To the flesh's desires that keep us down Filled with the Spirit, we find life and grace, Even though sin's hold on us we must face
So let us align our thoughts with the Spirit's call, To please God and experience His love above all For in Him, we find abundant life, Free from the chains of sin and strife
So let us choose the Spirit's way, And walk in His light every day For in Him, we find true peace and rest, Living in His love, we are truly blessed
