In James 4, we find a truth so clear Life's fragile, plans uncertain, we must steer Boasting of tomorrow, oh how vain For only God's will shall truly reign
Let's humble ourselves, acknowledge His way And say, "If it's the Lord's will," every day Neglecting good we know we should pursue Is a sin we must avoid, stay true
Live with intention, with purpose in sight Depend on God's guidance, in His light Let's embrace humility, let's live with grace In God's hands, our future we'll embrace
So let's heed James 4, with hearts sincere And live each day with purpose, without fear
