In shadows deep, I cried,  
Your love, my faithful guide.  
From forces dark and sly,  
You lifted me up high.  

With eyes now opened wide,  
I see the truth inside.  
In trials, You were near,  
My heart, You calmed my fear.  

A shield against the night,  
You turned my wrongs to right.  
Your light, a beacon bright,
