In shadows deep, I roam,
A heart that feels like stone.
Adrift in silent seas,
Where no one hears my pleas.
Not a dream but beauty so bright,
A gold bridge in morning light.
Colors burst, a grand show,
A wondrous place where spirits glow.
Just as I start to climb,
A voice calls, “Its time.”
Awake, I gasp for air,
The weight of my experience laid bare.
In waking, still I find,
The ache of being blind.
A world that feels so near,
Yet echoes with my fear.
I wrestle with the night,
In search of the Lord's light.
Though lost, I’ll seek the way,
To find where I can stay.
