Pay attention to the wise,
Their teachings hold the prize.
Keep them close to your heart,
And share them, don't depart. 

Honesty and truth, always speak,
In your actions, never be meek.
Do not oppress the poor,
For the Lord will ensure their cure. 

Avoid the hot-tempered ones,
Their ways can lead to tons.
Be careful with your money,
Debts can be far from funny. 

Respect your ancestors' ways,
Honor those who work for days.
Follow these teachings with care,
Success and favor will be there. 

So listen to the wise,
Their words will be your guide.
In God's sight, you'll find grace,
And in man's, a smiling face.
