In shadows deep, I cry,  
"You are my God," I sigh.  
My times are in Your hand,  
In chaos, I will stand.  

Rescue me from the foe,  
Your love, let it bestow.  
The proud with tongues of lies,  
Their arrogance defies.  

Yet in Your light, I dwell,  
Your truth, my heart will tell.  
Forsaken, yet I find,  
Your faithfulness, so kind.  

The blessings for the meek,  
In You, my soul will seek.  
Be strong, take heart, and rise,  
For justice never lies.  

The faithful find their peace,  
In You, their fears release.  
O Lord, my refuge true,  
In all, I trust in You.
