Gracie The Pigeon’s Christmas Tree

Gracie the Pigeon, so bold and bright,
Lived in a city, a beautiful sight.
She loved to fly, explore every street,
With wings spread wide, she felt so complete.
As Christmas drew near, the lights shone so clear,
Gracie felt joy, the season was here.

One cold morning, she soared through the air,
Spotted a sparkle, a sight so rare.
A lonely tree, tucked behind a bench,
Droopy but lovely, it made her clench.
"This tree needs love, a home it must find,"
Gracie decided, her heart intertwined.

To the old fountain, she wanted to go,
But how to move it? She didn’t yet know.
Gathering friends, she called out with glee,
“Come help me, friends! There’s beauty to see!”
The pigeons all gathered, their eyes opened wide,
Excited to help, they stood by her side.

They flew through the park, collecting bright things,
Ribbons and buttons, oh, what joy it brings!
They decorated the tree, made it so grand,
With teamwork and laughter, they took a stand.
But dark clouds rolled in, the wind started to blow,
Gracie stood firm, they must protect it so.
