In creation's groaning, we find our own sighs Like birth pains, we await the new sunrise The Spirit intercedes when words fail to come Guiding our prayers, leading us to the One
We groan inwardly, longing for the day When our bodies are redeemed, darkness fades away Hope unseen, yet steadfast in our hearts Strength in patience, as we play our parts
God works for our good, in all that we face Called to reflect His Son, in His grace Glorification awaits, our destiny sure Trusting in His timing, our hearts secure
So let us hold fast, to the hope we possess In the struggle and the waiting, we find rest For in Romans 8, we find our truth God's love and purpose, our eternal youth
