In a village small and bright, Lived a pigeon, pure delight. Rock was cheerful, full of glee, Spreading joy for all to see.
With a smile that shone like gold, He shared wisdom, brave and bold. “Rejoice!” he’d say, “in every plight, For the Lord is near, our light.”
One sunny morn, he took a stroll, Through the woods, his heart was whole. A hidden path caught his keen eye, Curiosity soared high.
Deeper in, a lake appeared, Sparkling waters, calm and clear. But a boat, stranded, caught his sight, Pebbles cried, filled with fright.
His heart raced fast, worry grew, Yet he prayed, as he knew to do. “Lord, grant me strength, grant me grace, Help me find a way to face.”
Logs by the shore, a clever thought, With vines and courage, a raft he sought. He launched it forth, paddled with care, Each stroke of hope, a prayer in air.
“Don’t fear, Pebbles, I’m right here!” He called out loud, to calm her fear. At last, he reached her, safe and sound, Together, joy and laughter found.
Back on shore, they shared a smile, Bravery made the journey worthwhile. In helping her, his heart did swell, With peace and joy, a story to tell.
So remember, when times are tough, With faith and love, you’ll find enough. Like Rock the pigeon, spread your cheer, For the Lord is always near.
