Nestled in the tree so high,
A Verdin sings beneath the sky.
Its yellow face shines so bright,
Bringing joy to this peaceful sight.

Chirping happily, spreading cheer,
In the warmth of the afternoon so dear.
Leaves rustle gently, sunlight beams,

The Verdin dances, full of glee,
