On a bright, sunny day,  
Four pigeons came to play.  
Settled on a bright quilt,  
With feathers all ruffled, 

They belted out a tune,  
Beneath the warm, round moon.  
“Seeds, oh seeds, we adore!  
Raisins, we want them more!”  

Their beaks wide open wide,  
Flapping with joyful pride.  
“Give us sunflower seeds, oh please, please!  
We’ll dance on the soft breeze!”  

Passersby stopped to stare,  
Laughter filled the warm air.  
This feathery bird band,  
Snacking was truly grand!
