In the heart, a choice,  
Flesh or Spirit, hear the voice.  
Earthly cravings pull us down,  
In their grasp, we wear a frown.  

Mind of flesh, it cannot see,  
God's own laws, it won't agree.  
But the Spirit, pure and bright,  
Guides us gently to the light.  

Life and peace, the Spirit's gift,  
In His presence, hearts will lift.  
Cultivate this sacred space,  
Find in Him your resting place.  

Flesh will lead to downfall and strife,  
Spirit brings abundant life.  
Choose the path that leads to grace,  
In His love, we find our place.  

Let your thoughts in Him abide,  
In His truth, we shall reside.  
So embrace the Spirit's call,  
In His arms, we’ll never fall.
